Pandora's Fury

A Tabletop Miniatures Wargame by B F Irving

In the harsh, post-apocalyptic future after the "Pandora Event" survivors battle creatures of the Other Verse and each other for resources and dominance of what is left of Earth in this tabletop miniature wargame set in the same world as our "Pandora's Wake" RPG.

With conversion notes that let you convert your Pandora's Wake characters to Pandora's Fury and back again, this tabletop miniatures wargame uses our "Fury" rules set, suitable for small skirmishes or large battles and using any scale miniatures you choose from 6mm to 38mm. (Personally, I prefer 15mm, but use the scale you like the best)

Pandora's Fury is a scale-neutral tabletop miniatures game set in a post-apocalyptic world.

It is specifically designed so you can play the game using whichever scale miniatures you prefer and miniatures from any manufacturer you like in the games. We have included one or two (by no means exhaustive) recommendations in the rules for manufacturers of miniatures we used during playtesting, but you are in no way restricted to using those.

You can play small skirmishes to fairly substantial battles with these rules, using just a few miniatures up to a hundred or so per side, whatever takes your fancy.

The core mechanic is fairly simple and uses ten-sided dice. Players attempt to roll under their target number on a d10 whenever they attempt anything that may or may not succeed, from shooting to testing morale or discipline.

Units or characters are described by a series of attributes including their Melee Attack, Ranged Attack, Defence Value, Intuitive Level, and Discipline Level which are ascribed a number from 1 to 10 and it is these numbers which you will try to roll under when attempting an action governed by that attribute. Situational modifiers (such as are you resting a long-arm when firing or have you been ambushed when testing your morale, or an adjustment for your armour when rolling to save against a hit, and so on).

When you create your army troops and character models begin with their attributes set to their species norm but you also get a number of points to spend per unit or character depending on their training or hero level (+1 for Militia, +2 or regular soldiers, +20 fr lesser hero's and so on). These points can be used to increase attributes and/or buy special skills or your model such as “Aggressive” (allowing an additional attack), “Additional Hit points”, “Luck” (Letting you re-roll one of your dice per game session), “Medic” and many others.

An experience system is also included for use in campaign games, letting models progress from rank and file up to heroic levels if they survive enough battles.

Because the system is based on simple 10 sided dice rolls and statistics form 1 to 10 it is also easily compatible with the “Pandora's Wake” RPG which uses d% and percentile based attributes. Rules on converting characters fro the RPG to Pandora's Fury! Have also been included in the PDF rules.

Posted 27/05/2019

Gethsemane Games is sorry to announce there has been a delay in the production of our printed books for this (and other) games.  There have been some layout changes mandated by our printing service provider which made the original Am Let. layout obsolete and we have to re-do the whole layout.  since we are doing it anyway, we have decided to take the opportunity to correct a few of those determined typos that got past 2 proofreaders and 2 editors.  We are also going to be adding a little extra content and tweaking some of the stats for selected races based on feedback from the PDF customers.  NOTE: when this is doe all PDF customers will also be able to update to the new version PDF.

We are sorry for the delays but will try to keep you all updated.  In the meantime, if you don't have a copy of the game and would like to buy a PDF, please do, your PDFs will be upgraded free of charge when the new layout is done, simply log into the account with whichever seller you purchased the PDF form and re-download the PDF and you wil find it will upate - Its that simple!
